“My objective is to provide the best, finest-quality oral care for my patients. Along the way, I have the pleasure of cultivating genuine relationships with my patients and their families, which has brought me much joy during the past 30 years.” — Dr. Velasco
Dr. David Velasco attended the University of Nebraska in Omaha and Lincoln for his undergraduate studies from 1977 to 1982. He continued at the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s College of Dentistry in Lincoln for his Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Since completing his formal education in 1987, Dr. Velasco has continued his training in sleep disorders, apnea, and snoring, as well as implants and surgical grafting procedures. This allows him to stay at the forefront of dental technology and advances in treatment options. When applied to sleep disorders, the correct diagnosis and treatment can be lifesaving.
The son of a US Marine, Dr. Velasco spent most of his childhood traveling all around the US. He has called Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Ohio, and California home during his life. Arizona has been Dr. Velasco’s home since 1987, and he raised three children — Lauryn, Andrew, and Michele — here. He looks forward to spending time with his children and their families in between their busy schedules. When he’s free, Dr. Velasco likes to travel to Pinetop in the summer.
